The best non-dairy option for lattes. Look for "barista edition" versions — these are formulated with added fat and stabilizers that mimic whole milk's frothing behavior. Standard oat milk froths poorly and separates quickly.
More difficult. Almond milk produces thin, unstable foam. Soy milk froths adequately but can curdle slightly at espresso temperatures. Both require lower steaming temperatures (around 130°F) to avoid separation.
